DWI Task Force

Reduce the Incidence of DWI, Alcoholism, Alcohol Abuse, and Alcohol-related domestic violence.

Roosevelt County DWI Task Force is committed to increase the public awareness

Enforcement &

Offender Programs

We use checkpoints, saturation patrols, and advanced equipment to enhance road safety. This approach not only aims to identify and apprehend impaired drivers but also serves as a proactive measure to prevent potential accidents and save lives on the roads.

Prevention

Preventing DWI incidents takes strategy that extends beyond enforcement. We encompass education, alternatives, and widespread dissemination of information. Disseminating information through social media, community events, and school programs, to ensure the message reaches a wide audience.

Treatment

When Treating DWI offenders we use various approaches, including outpatient treatment and preventative measures. By targeting at-risk individuals and providing support and resources, these measures aim to prevent future DWI incidents and promote safer driving behaviors within communities.

Education

Early intervention programs and community-based initiatives, focus on identifying and addressing risk factors associated with impaired driving before offenses occur
