We use checkpoints, saturation patrols, and advanced equipment to enhance road safety. This approach not only aims to identify and apprehend impaired drivers but also serves as a proactive measure to prevent potential accidents and save lives on the roads.<\/p>\n

Prevention<\/h3>\n

Preventing DWI incidents takes strategy that extends beyond enforcement. We encompass education, alternatives, and widespread dissemination of information. Disseminating information through social media, community events, and school programs, to ensure the message reaches a wide audience.<\/p>\n

Treatment<\/h3>\n

When Treating DWI offenders we use various approaches, including outpatient treatment and preventative measures. By targeting at-risk individuals and providing support and resources, these measures aim to prevent future DWI incidents and promote safer driving behaviors within communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Roosevelt County DWI Task Force, recognizing that a problem with DWI alcohol related incidents\/accidents does exist, is committed to increase the public awareness of said problem through: Enforcement, Prevention, Offender Programs, Public Information and Education, and Treatment. The Roosevelt County DWI Task Force is established pursuant to the authority provided by the Laws 1991 Chapter 245, Section 2; shall strictly adhere to the guidelines set forth by the State of New Mexico. Local By-Laws were established in 1994 and the latest amended version is adhered to yearly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
